Problem Statement

Geothermal energy is an important source of renewable energy that has the potential to provide a significant portion of the world's electricity needs. However, despite its benefits, geothermal energy has not yet achieved the same level of widespread adoption as other renewable energy sources like wind and solar. One major challenge to increasing the adoption of geothermal energy is a lack of global community alignment on messaging about the benefits and potential of geothermal energy.

Workshop Objective

The Communication Summit aims to address this challenge by bringing together leaders in the geothermal energy sector from around the world to discuss and align on messaging around geothermal energy. The summit will explore questions such as: How can we better communicate the benefits of geothermal energy to stakeholders, including policymakers, investors, and the general public? What messaging strategies have been successful in promoting geothermal energy in different regions, and how can these strategies be replicated and scaled globally? By addressing these questions and bringing together experts from across the geothermal energy sector, the Communication Summit seeks to promote greater global community alignment on messaging about the potential and benefits of geothermal energy.
